Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
This policy explains which cookies and comparable technologies this website uses, for what purpose and on which legal basis. Without your consent we set no non-essential cookies.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They allow a website to recognise your browser, for example to remember your cookie choice or to measure reach in pseudonymous form. We also count comparable technologies (e.g. localStorage) as cookies in this policy.
2. Consent and legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG (no consent required). All non-essential technologies, in particular statistics, are loaded only with your prior consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). On your first visit you receive a consent banner with equally weighted "Accept all" and "Reject all" buttons and granular per-category settings.
We store the decision itself (your choice, a random reference number, the time and the version of the consent text) in order to be able to demonstrate it. The legal basis for that processing is Art. 6 (1) (c) in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR; without such a record we could not meet our duty to demonstrate consent.

- Statistics, only after your consent
Statistics cookies are only set once you have consented to the "Statistics" category. Until then, Google Analytics is not loaded.
Cookieless statistics: according to the provider, Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (Statistics category) work without cookies and without comparable storage (e.g. localStorage) on your device; visits are distinguished by a hash derived from connection data which is discarded after 24 hours. We nonetheless load them only after your consent to the "Statistics" category. How long the resulting metrics remain available at Vercel depends on the reporting window of our plan; the provider does not guarantee deletion beyond it.
4. Withdraw or change your consent
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent. Use here or the same link in the footer.
After a withdrawal we reload the page. Analytics scripts already running in the open tab keep measuring until the document is rebuilt, so only the reload actually ends them.
